Disneyland, nerdfighteria, and old-fashioned movie swearing

+ The Little Productivity Tip of a Zen Master from Zen Habits. Invaluable advice, and completely simple.
“It’s an old-fashioned piece of productivity advice, and something that I’ve done in the past, but it works. Deal with something once. Do it now. Then it’s off your mind, and you can fully focus on the next matter.”
+ 5 things that always work and don’t cost anything from Raptitude. I think all the suggestions are amazing, but number 2 in particular is speaking my language!
“Everything — on your desk, in your closet, stacked on your mantle — has a tax on the mind. If you don’t believe me, get rid of most of what you own, find a proper place for everything else and see the difference in how the day looks — in how life looks — when you wake up.”

+ I visited L.A. and went to Disneyland this past weekend and had a wonderful time! Los Angeles shopping, soft pretzels, roller-coasters aplenty, quinoa-veggie-tofu stir frys, major amounts of caffeine, and power walking until we (almost literally) dropped. Tip: going to Disneyland as a vegan does not have to be hard! There’s a ton of information online (that I looked up on my phone while I was there), and who knew vegan gumbo existed and could be so good? On another note, my friend Megan and I both took a bunch of pictures and they’re all rounded up on a facebook album.

+ I also went to a book signing event in Redwood City for John Green and his brother Hank Green of the vlogbrothers! It was hilarious, exhilarating, and included a sing-a-long. Here’s the one blurry picture I took:

And here’s a video of what it was like and how it felt:
