Quick links and photos, a day late!

Please excuse my lateness! I was in San Francisco and got sidetracked - a Japanese consulate trip, morning coaching sessions, sorting/organizing barbies (Rising Star and Hillbilly barbies!), eating sushi in Little Japan, a trip to the gym where I skipped the treadmills and a sauna in favor of playing ping pong, really good indian food, and lots of shopping. Don’t ask! I can tell you it was very awesome. On to the stuff and things of the week!

Such as: “If you were sending out invites for a fanciful afternoon tea party, who would you invite? Could be anyone — alive, dead, fictional, or cartoon-sketched.” or “So, I’ve got this question percolating in my mind, and I’m asking everyone I meet. What’s your absolutely perfect day, from dawn till dusk?”

10 Ways to Feel Rich. I love these. I do the “Fill up your virtual shopping cart…and then close your browser” one constantly! I also like ordering a few subscriptions to magazines off amazon - many of them are shockingly cheap for a year’s subscription (sometimes just $5!). For some reason, getting fun stuff in the mail is always exciting and makes me feel rich.

  1. Hey, Sonora!
Your posts are so inspiring :)That "100 Alternatives" article is way cool. Are you interested in Interior Design?
Okay, so, "The Hunger Games." Kevin (my hubby) is planning to take me on the midnight showing for my birthday (just turned 20!).
I know it doesn't work for you to go that night :(
I was thinking about other exciting things we could do. Have you heard about the Litfest at Mendocino? It's May 19th 10AM to 4PM. If that sounds interesting to you, maybe we could meet up there! Let me know whenever!
